Billing questions
How money works at EXPanda, in a few words. What counts is always the text of the terms, linked in every answer; the amount you pay is the one the payment provider's page shows before you confirm.
Can I change my mind after buying?
Yes. You can withdraw within 7 calendar days of signing up or of a renewal, without giving a reason, and you get back everything you paid, through the same payment method. Ask in the app, under EXPanda Account, or through the support channel on the site, with the account e-mail and the date of the charge.
What if the withdrawal period has passed?
The period that has already started is not refunded, but you can cancel whenever you want: there is no new charge and the plan runs until the end of the period you paid for. Even after the withdrawal period we refund duplicate charges, wrong amounts and the time the plan could not be used because of a fault of ours.
How do I cancel my subscription?
On the “Your plan” page, with the “Manage subscription” button. When you cancel, the plan runs until the end of the period you already paid for and there is no new charge. When it ends, the account goes back to the free plan; what comes from the factory in the car keeps working as always.
What happens if I switch plans in the middle of a period?
A new period starts on the day of the switch. What you have not used of the previous plan becomes a credit that reduces the price of the switch (never money back), and the renewal date counts from the switch. Before you confirm, the screen shows the amount and the new date.
What happens when my plan expires?
A card subscription renews by itself every period until you cancel. Pix and boleto pay a single period and do not renew by themselves: we may e-mail you before the plan expires. If the charge for a subscription fails, the plan keeps going for 3 days of grace before it ends. When a plan expires, the account goes back to the free plan.
What if the car has no internet?
The device keeps a pass that is valid for 7 days and renews every time it talks to the server. If it stays offline longer, there are 3 more days of grace. After that, EXPanda features stop and only the sign-in screen remains; what comes from the factory in the car keeps working.
How do redeem codes and courtesy time work?
A redeem code works once: it adds plan time to the account that used it and cannot be used again. Courtesy is plan time our team gives to a person, with a reason. Neither was paid for, so neither is refundable; when the time ends, the account goes back to its own plan.
Does the first-year promotion carry on at renewal?
No. The promotion covers the first year and, at renewal, the subscription moves to annual Premium. You are told beforehand: on the payment screen, on “Your plan” and in the renewal e-mail. The amounts of each plan are on the plans page, and what counts is always what the provider's page shows before you confirm.
How does the “My invitations” program work?
Whoever subscribes to the monthly plan has an invitation link. While there are active friends at or above the goal shown in the “My invitations” tab, the next invoice of the monthly subscription is free. It is credit on the subscription itself, never money. The annual plan and plans given by redeem code, courtesy or promotion do not get the reward.
Where do I see what I paid and when my plan renews?
On the “Your plan” page, which shows the plan, how long it lasts, whether it renews by itself and its history. Payment is made on the payment provider's page, and EXPanda does not store your card number. Nothing is charged without your acceptance of the terms.
